The American Seeding Machine Company based in ? was a manufacturer of seed drills & planting machinery. The company was one of the firms that merged in 1929 with the Oliver Chilled Plow Company, the Nichols and Shepard Company, and the Hart-Parr Tractor Company to form the Oliver Corporation and offer a full line of tractors & machinery in the face of growing competition from full-line companies such as J.I. Case, John Deere and Massey-Harris.
