Automet is a Polish manufacturer of buses that was founded in 1989. Originally known as Warsztat Mechaniczno-Stolarski, it changed its name in 1994 to Automet. While it manufactures coaches, it also does minibus conversions of such vehicle like Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Vario, Iveco Daily and the Volkswagen LT and Crafter. Its products are sold in the whole of Eastern Europe (Lithuania, Russia, Belarus and the Ukraine), Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, France, Sweden, Germany and other countries.[1]
