The Bedford O model was a truck chassis introduced in 193?. It was built by Bedford vehicles (a General Motors subsidiary) in the UK.

Recently (2009) restored Bedford OL Flatbed JSU 251 at Leeds HCVS meet June 2009

The O was available in 2 wheelbases of ? Short and ? ft Long designated 'S and L

It is fitted with a 27.34 hp petrol engine and has a 4-speed gearbox and fully floating rear axle. The brakes are of the vacuum servo assisted hydraulic type. Also available with Perkins diesel engine option (often retro fitted as a conversion)

A total of ? were produced making it one of the most popular trucks of its type ever.

Production continued post war till 195?
