Benfra Spa is a Italian company founded by Elio Bendini and Giorgio Frascaroli in Bologna, Italy in 1947 to convert agricultural tractors to industrial use. The original name was, Bendini, Frascaroli and Co SpA then Benfra Spa from 1970.

In 1956 the company relocated to Modena.

In the 70's, Benfra granted the license to manufacture front loaders to the Argentine company CRyBSA.

CRyBSA had offices in the province of Buenos Aires and an industrial plant in Villa Regina, Province of Río Negro. CRyBSA closed its doors in 1993.

In 1992, the Benfra product line was composed by wheeled and crawler excavators, attachment for excavators, wheeled loaders, backhoe tractors and forklift trucks.

Benfra closed in 1995.
