Carraro Agritalia is a division of the Carraro Group, which is separate from Antonio Carraro. Founded in Rovigo, Italy in 1910 as Giovanni Carraro, Carraro Agritalia builds tractors under the Carraro brand, and also contract-manufactures tractors for various other companies.

Carraro was founded by Giovanni Carraro and first manufactured agricultural equipment, seeders, in 1932. The first tractor was built in 1958.[1] Antonio Carraro separated from his brothers in the Giovanni Carraro Company in 1960 to form the Antonio Carraro company.[2]

The company was 16% owned by Renault, which may mean Claas now has ownership since Claas purchased Renault's ag division.

Carraro builds standard tractors, and vineyard and orchard specialty tractors from 55-95hp, mainly using Deutz engines.
