Canadian Co-op Implements Limited (CCIL) was a Canadian distributor of farm equipment, including tractors, combine harvesters, swathers and other implements. Co-ops, or cooperatives, are member owned groups or loosely formed companies, that help the members to buy things they need at reduced prices due to the amount of products they collectively buy. It is also a way for members to have access to items they may otherwise not have access to since it may not be profitable for a standard company to establish a retail outlet in the far outlying areas. Canadian Co-op Implements Limited was a farmer-owned co-op giving farmers access to tractors and other farm equipment across Canada. The products were sold under the Co-op Implements, CCIL and Cereal Implements brands.
