Daimler Trucks is a division of Germany's Daimler AG responsible for the manufacturing of commercial trucks. It is the largest manufacturer of trucks above 6 tons gross vehicle weight in the world.[1]

BharatBenz began production in India in 2012 as a new brand dedicated to the country.

A joint venture was set up with Russia's KAMAZ, Fuso Kamaz Trucks. Also in 2012, an agreement was signed with Nissan Motor Company of Japan to supply Canter trucks to Nissan to sell in Japan, and Nissan to supply the Nissan Atlas for sale elsewhere. This is an extension of the Daimler AG and Nissan-Renault alliance.[2]
