Duncombe Park Steam Rally

From Tractor & Construction Plant Wiki

The Duncombe Park Steam Rally is held each July in Duncombe Park at Helmsley in North Yorkshire, England. The gathering is organised by the The Great Yorkshire Traction Engine Club. The Event has been hosted for the last few years by Lord Feversham, at Duncombe Park, in the grounds of his Stately Home on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors Park. Lord Feversham was Patron of the Club, but passed away in 2009.

The site is a large slopping parkland area sheltered by trees overlooking the town of Helmsley and with views across the Vale of York.

[edit] Commercial & Military vehicles

A number of interesting vehicles were present. But a number had disappeared by mid after noon !!

Details to follow once steam sorted

  • (photos to follow later) And a few others trucks besides.

[edit] Tractors

The Tractor display was quite large but most disappeared after the Parade mid after noon & the layout made taking photos difficult as exhibit numbers not visible, and packed too tight as usual.

A selection of the few I did get to follow.
