Fahr was a farm equipment manufacturer in Germany that made tractors, combine harvesters, engines and equipment. By the 1950s, most of the Fahr tractor models were built by Guldner, another German manufacturer. In 1962, Fahr merged with Guldner. Fahr also had a branch in Argentina manufacturing engines and tractors for the South American continent.

In either 1968 or ?, Fahr and Deutz merged to form Deutz-Fahr.[clarification needed]
