The Farmall 200 was built by International Harvester from 1954 to 1956 in Chicago, Illinois, USA.

Model History Edit

For Company history see
Main article: International Harvester

The McCormick Farmall 200 was nearly identical to the Farmall Super C except for the new grille. The 200 was available with the Hydra-Creeper, an attachment providing four creeper speeds with the hydraulic pump driving the tractor through the power take off shaft.

Tractor Comparison Edit

The Farmall 200 was the best-selling tractor in the 2-plow 25-hp class from 1955-56. Other tractors competing with the 200 were the Allis-Chalmers CA, John Deere 40T, Massey-Harris Colt, Minneapolis-Moline BF, and Oliver 66. The Cockshutt 20 and Oliver Super 66 had larger engines and developed more power. In mid 1956 John Deere also managed to squeeze more power out of the little 2-cylinder engine in the new 420T, which replaced the 40T. In mid-1956 the Farmall 200 became the Farmall 230 with increased power from a higher rpm engine.
