The Farmall F-20 tractor was built by International Harvester from 1932 until 1939 at the Farmall Works, Rock Island, Illinois, USA.

Model history[]

Main article: Farmall

The Farmall F-20 was a mid-year update of the Farmall Regular. It used the same size engine but developed about 10% more power. The transmission now had 4 forward speeds. The main visual difference from the Regular was a shorter air intake stack. The original F-20s were painted gray as were all McCormick-Deering models until the change to Harvester Red in late-1936. The F-20 gained a few hp in 1937 when running on distillate fuel. According to some references F-20 production ended in 1938, when it was replaced by the Farmall H. Other records show that several thousand F-20s were built in 1940.
