The Fermec company was created by a management buyout of MF industrial in 1992. This encompassed all construction equipment lines from Massey Ferguson. It was purchased by J.I.Case in 1997. The company finally ceased trading in 2001 when it was swallowed up by Terex, and the models rebranded.
