The Gerry King collection is a private collection of tractors of the Avery brand built up by Irishman Gerry King. He also has a collection of Allis-Chalmers tractors and other rare tractors.

Collection history[]

The Avery collection started in 1998 with the purchase at the Cheffins summer sale at Great Yorkshire Showground of a Avery 18-36 for the sum of £7800 for a very rare tractor, that was in a very poor state. Since then he has built up what is probaly the largest colection of Avery tractors outside of the USA and may be the most complete 'set' of this marque.
