The Grendon Lakes Rally is held near Northampton and is a new event with the first one held in August 2009. The event was billed as a vintage rally and country show. The event was advertised in Tractor & Machinery Magazine, but very few signs were seen near the event to guide visitors to the site on a quite back road !.

The event clashed with the Earls Barton Rally and Country Fayre which is also held that weekend Near Northampton on the other side of the river and the A14. (why hold 2 events within waking distance of each other on the same weekend)

2009 exhibitsEdit

The reports of this event were that there was very few steam entries. (if you visited this event please add some details of what was actually present).

2010Edit

A plant themed event was billed for earlier in the year at this venue but was cancelled near the proposed date. No August steam event was heard of by Tractor wikis' main author for 2010, so this event may prove to have been a one off event. (The 2010 Earls Barton Rally and Country Fayre was cancelled on the Friday due to a water logged site after heavy rain during the week before).

If you have more information or know of any press reports please post details below !
