Harrison, McGregor and Guest a manufacturer of agricultural machinery based in 'Albion Iron Works' Leigh, Lancashire was formed in September 1946.[1] The company was originally Harrison, McGregor and Co. of Leigh established by Mesrs. Henry Harrison, Alexander McGregor and George Rich in 1873. In 1946 the company was joined by a Mr. Guest, who became a partner in the business and the name changed. The Company traded under the Albion brand name (no connection to the truck maker).

- 1947 - Acquired the Dowlais factory of Associated Automation which had been used to produce munitions and then farm machinery during the war.
- 1955 - Taken over by David Brown Tractors.[2]
