The International Cub Cadet 124 was built by International Harvester from 1967 to 1969 in the Louisville, Kentucky, USA factory. It featured a 12 hp (8.9 kW) Kohler engine.

The 12-hp gear drive International Cub Cadet 124 replaced the previous 122. Styling changes were the same as for the 104 and 105 models.
