The International Cub Cadet 129 was built by International Harvester from 1971 to 1974 in the Louisville, Kentucky, USA factory.

Model History[]

For Company history see
Main article: International Harvester

The 10th anniversary line of Cub Cadets introduced in late-1971 looked about the same as previous models but underneath was a new, wider, frame for easier mounting of engines and other components. The 12-hp hydrostatic International Cub Cadet 129 replaced the 127. The 129 kept the black bands on the hood sides with the "Cub Cadet" script and model number but a red pinstripe distinguished the 128 and 129 from other models.
