Model History[]

The 7-hp International Cub Cadet 70 was based on the original Cub Cadet and used the same Kohler K161 single-cylinder air-cooled engine and International 3-speed transmission. However, there were major changes: a redesigned frame and straight-through driveline from the engine to the transmission, eliminating the V-belt drive of the original model.
