The International TD-14 Series 142 was a diesel engined crawler tractor built by the International Harvester company from 1955 to 1958 in the USA.

Model history

In early 1955 International’s TD-14A crawler lagged well behind the class-leading Caterpillar D-6 in size and power. Shortly afterwards International released the completely revised TD-14 Series 142. The new model was about 2 tons heavier. Raising the governed rpm of the 461 ci 4-cylinder diesel from 1,400 to 1,650 brought the belt hp up to 91, making the TD-14 the equal of the D-6 and the Allis-Chalmers HD-11.
