Laltesi was a Italian manifacturer of excavators and founded by Luigi Laltesi on 1954 in Piacenza. From about 1975 Caterpillar dealers of Italy such as Maia from Rome and CGT from Milan, have marketed Laltesi excavators in Italy. Laltesi closed in 1995.
The engines used have been Fiat or Caterpillar.
