The Massey Ferguson 399 was introduced in 1986 as one of the Massey Ferguson 300 series built in England that replaced the Massey Ferguson 200 series. The MF 399 was built until 1997 when it was replaced. At one time it had a 97 hp (72 kW) Perkins engine, then a 104 hp (78 kW) Perkins engine.

  • Still works hard as part of  a potato growers fleet in South West Scotland
  • Fitted with the better Hi-Line cab
  • MF399 Model with Perkins 1006 engines are still in production in Iran (MF licencee ITMCO)
