MF Muck spreader (restored) -P8100545

Restored MF muck spreader

Massey Ferguson marketed a number of Manure spreaders under there own name. Also commonly called a Muck speader. These were made by outside contractors and originated from Harry Ferguson's idea of offering his tractor tractor with a complete range of accessories and implements to compliment it.

The spreader was driven by the Power Take Off and was pulled by the drawbar.

The Massey Ferguson machines were built with a sheet metal hopper which tended to corrode if not cleaned out after use and stored under cover.

Model range[]

The initial offering was the Ferguson version re-branded following the merger with Massey-Harris in the new red livery.

As tractor sizes grew in the 1960s and 1970s newer larger models were offered.
