The McCormick-Deering WK-40 was built by International Harvester from 1937 to 1940.

Model historyEdit

For company history see main International Harvester article.

In 1937 McCormick-Deering WK-40 was an upgrade of the McCormick-Deering WA-40, with the engine increased to 298 ci and the rpm increased from 1,600 to 1,750. The same basic tractor was also built with a diesel engine as the McCormick-Deering WD-40. Similar industrial models were the McCormick-Deering ID-40 and International IK-40 and ID-40.
