Neuson Ltd was formerly Lifton Ltd, who were a UK company building Site dumpers in Wales.

Neuson AG of Germany took them over in 1998. The Neuson AG company being started in 1981 as Neuson Hydraulic. Then in 2001 Neuson AG merged with the KramerAllrad group. By 2004 the Lifton name was dropped. The grop then merged with Wacker to form Wacker Neuson Gmb.
