Rosenlew is an Electrolux owned home appliance brand available in Finland. THe company originally started as a engineering firm in the 1800s and built farm machinery and latter diversified into early home appliances such as fridges. Electrolux stopped the manufacturing of fridges in Pori, Finland, in 1998. [1]
The combine harvester division was sold to a MBO in 1981 during restructuring and re named as Sampo Rosenlew which also manufactures forestry machinery. Some divisions were closed down during restructuring.
