Sanderson (Forklifts) Ltd of Croft Skegness, Lincolnshire were a manufacturer of "Rough terrain" forklifts and Telescopic handlers (Teleporters).

In 1981 Sanderson were Awarded a Gold Medal for Machinery by the Royal Agricultural Society of England (RASE) at the Royal Show.[1]

By 1984 they had taken over the failed Priestman excavators operation from parent company Acrow. And by 1988 had also acquired Winget a site dumper manufacturer .

To build a range of products Including (according to 1988 publicity photo);

  • 5 - Teleporter models (Sanderson)
  • 2 - Rough terrain Forklifts (Sanderson)
  • 2 - Long reach excavators (Priestman VC 15 & 20)
  • 3 - Hydraulic excavators (Priestman)
  • 5 - Dumper trucks (Winget)
  • 3 - Batch Mixers (Winget)
  • 3 - Diesel Towed Mixers (Winget)

By 1991 Sandersons were in trouble themselves and went bust with RB Cranes the successor to Ruston-Bucyrus company of Lincoln buying up the rights & Patents to the VC line of Excavators and continuing to build them including developing a new VC30 with 20, 25, & 30 m booms This massive machine weighing in at 61 tons. They are still available to order from RB Cranes successors Clarke Chapman part of the NEI group, who also own the Stothert & Pitt brand name.
