Takeuchi is a Japanese manufacturer of compact excavators, wheeled loaders and skid-steer loaders. It was founded in 1963, and built the world's first compact excavator in 1971.^[1] Based in Yotsuya, Sakaki-machi, Japan, the company has three plants in Japan, and one in China, with sales distributors in the USA, the UK and France.^[2]
