My name is Robin Elliott, I am studying at the University of Utah, and I am doing some research about tractors. I am specifically interested in safely mounting and dismounting from tractors - admittedly this does not get the same attention as rollovers, PTO accidents, and so forth, but according to some statistics, it is a significant concern. To help provide the information I need I am working on a survey to gather data about getting on and off a tractor. The survey is being developed on FileMaker Pro (registered or copywrited name I believe) format but will be available to be taken online on the internet by next month. Note: to take the survey participants must have experience driving tractors and be 18 years old or older. Please write any comments about this post.
