Volvo-Eicher Commercial Vehicles is a joint venture between Eicher Motors of India and Volvo of Sweden for the production of trucks and buses. The first all-new buses are to be produced in 2010. Eicher contributed all of its truck and bus manufacturing to the venture, and Volvo will lend its expertise and brand, with Volvo owning 45.6% of the venture, and also purchasing 8.1% of Eicher Motors. Eicher-Volvo vehicles are exported to as many as 46 countries.
Products include medium and heavy-duty trucks, buses, ambulances, garbage trucks, etc...
