Wirtgen Group 2014 Product range
Wirtgen Group GmbH is the German company that controls the various brands they now operate in the civil engineering and mining industry. The company is becoming a subsidiary of the world wide John Deere organisation in a $5.2 billion deal announced in autumn 2017. Deeres global expansion plans take them out of its core agricultural market into niche sectors in the construction and forestry sectors by taking over specialist manufacturers in growth sectors with a world wide expansion potential.
The main ones being;
- Wirtgen - Road Planners (millers), Soil stabilisers, Recyclers, Surface miners.
- Hamm - Rollers and compactors
- Kleemann - Crushers and screeners
- Benninghoven - Asphalt batching plant (static and portable)
